Come and join us for “The GHOST TRAIN BIKE RIDE” on Saturday, Sept 25, 10 – 3 along the Cataraqui Trail at this colourful time of year. Get a Free “Ticket To Ride” and begin your adventure at any of the 6 ‘Stations’ from Strathcona through Newburgh, Camden East, Yarker, Harrowsmith, and Sydenham.
You can ride past some, or all, of these stations are your leisure, as each ‘Station’ takes you back in time with interesting displays of Railway and Community History, and a ‘Station Agent’ to punch your ticket !
Local Historian Steve Manders will have his portable museum at Harrowsmith with lots of interesting history and stories. Other displays of interest will be seen along the way, but make sure to lookout for the Ghost Train !
This Fun Adventure is a safe outdoor event for the whole family along 30 km of the beautiful Cataraqui Trail. If you come by car, there is some parking at each station, but the largest parking areas are at Harrowsmith, Sydenham, and Yarker.
